Making Progress...

You see that smile? That's the smile of my wife, a woman whose water broke, whose contractions started in earnest, and who just said goodbye to the anesthesiologist who delivered the sweet joy of an epidural!

We're not in the home-stretch yet, but one hurdle is down anyway. While we're hoping that means that baby will come soon, we will remain patient, happily pain-free, and anxious to meet the little wolfman.

  3. I've been asking for updates every hour, but secretly hoping you'll hold out until the 19th so I can win the dinner (that's too cruel for even me to ask that, though). Know that the AHS English Dept. is holding its collective breath and looking forward to the good news. Anne and I can't wait to meet Wolfgang and welcome him to the "family"

  4. Kristin - good call on using the anesthesiologist, natural childbirth has to be overrated.

A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for.

Wolfman is lucky to have the two of you as parents.
